Hello Paul,

Head on over to http://www.ltsp.org, and check out the contrib section.
Skip Gaede wrote a howto for doing this with NuBus PMacs, and
conceptually it's the same for iMacs and newer. The difference is that
you won't be using his Mach kernel boot image for the clients, since
iMacs and G4s are PCI-based. However, you will use the same X11
server. You know how there's the /opt/ltsp/i386 directory? Just un-tar
the PMac X11 server into /opt/ltsp/ppc, for example, and tweak all the
"i386" references in the script files to read "ppc". That's how I did
it with my 5260s.

Now, of course, we know where the NuBus boot kernel is, but what about
the one for PCI Macs? Does anyone have one of those? I have not yet
gotten my hands on a PMac that I can use for development, otherwise I'd
have made one myself and posted it. :-(

Be aware of one other thing. I know that G4's have 10/100 NICs, but if
any of those iMacs have 10Mbps cards in 'em, those'll work fine too,
but, like with my ancient 5260's, they'll feel a bit sluggish by comparison.
