Hi all,
Could you help me please?
Scenario:
We have an NT Server with Two servers connected to it.
Both printers are shared and do have their own IPs.
We also have a few Unix and Linux servers and workstations installed on our
network.
We need to setup printing from on Linux boxes to print to the printers on
the NT boxes.
What would be the best way to install the printers?
We tried to connect on of the printers using lpd. The printing worked but...
The paper size was incorrect (A3 instead of A4),
The way it printed was like this:
------------------------------------------------------------
######### User: Ghaleed@panic
##### Title: /etc/passwd
##### Date: Thu 09:35 Feb 21, 2002
##### Job: laser-1
##### root:x:0:1: We could see
The text that it
Was
supposed to print
But just not in the proper format.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Is there a solution to this challenge? What am I talking... of course there
should be a solution. Then I should ask someone to please point me to the
right direction?
Many thanks
Ghaleed
PS: One day, when I'm not a Newbie anymore, I would be able to help you all
out.
