I bought a thinknic to test it out.

	     It does a reasonable
	     job of being a client.

It does ssh, it does netscape, it does citrix.

It has some pain with the window manager, but
it is all opensoftware, so you can change it.

	     It runs a bit hot.

But overall it does what they said it would do.

 % Hi,
 %
% I know there are folks out there using the ThinkNIC from the New Internet
% Computer Company.......I was wondering how many folks are using them and
% what was involved in getting them to boot to the K12LTSP. They look like
% a viable alternative for terminals that I can install in the fall.....and
% the price is about right. I'd appreciate any feedback. I'd also
% appreciate any feedback on other machines (new...not used) that people are
% using for terminals. (I know all about the used ones) :-)
