Hi all,

Bert here.

I've got a whole lot of Realtek chipset NICs with PXE bootroms.

I'm testing one prior to the full rollout.

What happens is this.

It connects, starts downloading the kernel, then gets to the point where it starts negotiating connection speed.

Here are the messages I get.

==============================

Running dhclient
eth0:setting 100mbps half-duplex based on auto-negotiated partner ability 40a1.
NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth0: transmit timed out
eth0:setting 100mbps half-duplex based on auto-negotiated partner ability 40a1.

ERROR! No dhcpd-eth0.info file. Could be a problem with DHCP

Kernel panic: Attempted to kill init!

=============================

Anyone got any helpful hints?

Thanks,
Bert
