I reciently upgraded from the K12ltsp 1.1 to the newest version. In
K12ltsp 1.1, I had everyones shell in ldap point to a shellscript that
copied pre-configured .gnome and Nautilus directorys into everyones nfs
mounted home directory on every startup to ensure that anything that was
changed would go back to the defaults that I had setup, and so new users
would have all the default icons on their desktop for web browsing, etc.
When I tried using the same shellscript for their shell that I had used
with the 1.1 in 2.1.1, the screen flashes once and drops me back to the
login screen on the terminals.

Here is the shellscripts that I was using:

#!/bin/bash
killall nautilus
cp -Rfp /default/.gconf ~
cp -Rfp /default/.gconfd ~
cp -Rfp /default/.gnome ~
cp -Rfp /default/.gnome-desktop ~
cp -Rfp /default/.gnome-help-browser ~
cp -Rfp /default/.gnome_private ~
cp -Rfp /default/.nautilus ~
cp -Rfp /default/Nautilus ~
exec /etc/X11/xdm/Xsession

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this would no longer work, or an
alternative way to accomplish the same thing?

Thanks,
