Guy, Daniel,
as a matter of fact, you CAN do install from iso images. this is
precisely how i installed rh71 from k12 disks on my laptop without a cd
drive. you boot from an install floppy and tell the installer that the iso
images are on windoze drive c: (has to be primary partition). it is also
ok to have iso images available by nfs. the installer takes it from there.
you can also mount the iso image with -o loop option and have access to
all the files. this has one major drawback - you get to run only the first
disk. until the dvd iso is available with everything on one disk the
option for those without cd drives is to make minimum install and add rpms
later. julius
