Well, if it really is just a matter of it unsetting the LD_PRELOAD
environment variable (and I'm assuming that's how you're grabbing opens
to /dev/dsp) you might try adding the LD_PRELOAD line to
/etc/ld.so.preload they will then be loaded for every C/C++ application
on the system, regardless of LD_PRELOAD or not.
