Keep tryong, printing does does work - I have OOo working fine here with
a choice of printers (including the wonderful pdf creator). I can't
remember having to do anything special, other than run spadmin as root.
You could always try editing
/opt/OpenOffice.org641/share/psprint/psprint.conf by hand - and make
sure everyone can read it. I can email you mine if you like.
