John,
i keep trying. the thing is, it doesn't work on one server, but
works fine on others. i actually copied the psprint.conf file from a
working server to the "bad boy" and i still didn't get to see the generic
printer in spadmin. i am seriously thinking of saving user directories end
dhcp and lts conf files and just starting from scratch. this probably
would be faster, but i want to know what went wrong - i may run into it
again. julius
