Hmm, I saw a floppy problem on Friday that may be related. Copying a file
from the desktop to the floppy via Konquerer worked fine. Copying a file
from Konquerer to the desktop created a zero sized file.

I haven't had a chance to verify that this wasn't just a bad floppy in
this one terminal, but the problem you describe above is easy to verify.
I'll play around with it as soon as I get my hands on a terminal that
has a floppy drive.

Try the MToolsFM package I uploaded a little earlier:

  ftp://k12linux.mesd.k12.or.us/pub/distributions/testing/2.1.2/RPMS/MToolsFM-1.9-3.i386.rpm

If that does the trick for you, update the ltsp_floppyd package and new
users will default to using MToolsFM rather than Konqueror to access the
floppy:

  ftp://k12linux.mesd.k12.or.us/pub/distributions/testing/2.1.2/RPMS/ltsp_floppyd-3.0.0-3.i386.rpm
