On the clients there isn't much to migrate. The terminal is just a
linux based X terminal. Local app support may cloud the issue.
Although if you are running a local app you prob don't want to migrate
it anyway.

I don't use the clients as workstations so user poweroff is not an
issue. But client crashes or hardware going bad does happen. Ive seen
many things happen with processes. Some have lived and some have died.
It will depend on the application.

I was compiling a kernel and lost a node. Yikes, make hung waiting for
the process to end.

Compiling a kernel is a great way to show the good and bad side of
mosix. Many pieces of the kernel have short compile times and don't get
migrated. Other parts get migrated since they run longer. I run a dual
PII 266 for my server so it takes almost 2 hours to compile a kernel. I
have 3 nodes with celeron 366 CPUs. My kernel compile time goes to less
than 20 mins.

The server load gets high at times. But I don't like waiting :)
