Yes, it's clustering (shared processing, as opposed to shared file storage
with something like coda or gfs).  Take a look at www.mosix.org.  It's
actually pretty interesting, mainly because it doesn't require special
programming practices to use it (unlike MPI or PVM, two other message
passing - i.e., clustering - methods).
