I tried the nasd stuff and never got it to work. Mine worked fine with
esd.

Another question Caleb, with the ltsp_sound package did you set 
SOUND_DAEMON=nasd or SOUND_DAEMON=esd?

For those of you using Wine, can you try appending the following line
to /etc/profile.d/ltsp-esound.sh

	export AUDIOOSS_WINE_HACK="y"

and then log out/log in and see if sound in Wine works?
