I just wanna make sure I understand this correctly:

	* you upgraded the base OS from RH7.3 to RH8.0
	* after the upgrade, it is running significantly better

I have a number of comments to make from my own testing, but I just
want to make sure I got those two points from your post correct before
I do so.
