I have not tried 2.0.1 -> 3.0.0 upgrade. If 2.0.1 -> 2.1.1 didn't work well
for you, 2.0.1 -> 3.0.0 *probably* won't as well. I'll try it when I get
the chance.
If you try it, have backups. Good, solid, proven backups.
