[K12OSN] Power Off / Dell Optiplex

I have a lab with dual boot ( RedHat 7.1 / W98 ) Dell Optiplex
GX150s.  I have a problem with kids pressing the power button
and causing Linux to shutdown ungracefully.

Is there a way for APM or something similar to intercept the
power button activity and ignore it or do something better
than an immediate poweroff?

Since there is a W98 setting that controls this, I am thinking
there must be a way for Linux to also act on a power botton
press.

Any suggestions?
