If you have not run OpenOffice, you should try it - it is so close to MS
Office that the training time is negligible, and the file compatibility,
although not quite 100%, is nearly so (with the exception of complex
features of MSOffice)

I run both the Windows version and LINUX versions 641c - they are great stuff!

I just wish that office suites in general would move to the vastly improved
metaphor of something like GoBEProductive (www.gobe.com) which is now
available for Windows and soon to be for LINUX. (but not for free)

Sun has announced that they will be charging for StarOffice6 when released
on May, but the OpenOffice version will still be available.
