[K12OSN] rsync -az squidguard.mesd.k12.or.us doesn't work?

with `/usr/sbin/update_squidguard_blacklists` from a cron job, I get
the error message "failed to connect to squidguard.mesd.k12.or.us"
The failed rsync command (I think) is ;
rsync -az squidguard.mesd.k12.or.us::filtering /var/squidGuard/blacklists
What am I missing ?
Other than this, the installed squidGuard package (V2.0 ISOs) is 100%
