Hello all,
I'm the guy who wrote the stupid mail last week
asking for my cd's. I got them today, thanks Paul. I
am going to install K12LTSP tonight, and am wondering
about the following situation:

1) I only have one server, due to budget constraints
that's just how it's gonna be.
http://www.novapcs.com/Itemdesc.asp?CartId={A9305468-9257-4CF7-A2FC-78898D8459FD}&ic=SY%2DNX6805&Tp=
Without Lindows now. :-) I've added another ethernet
card to it, and plan on getting the max gig of ram.
2) I would like to use this server as my:
   a) K12LTSP server. I'll probably need some help on
that aspect.
   b) regular server (I'm hoping it's possible to
host www.fresnoseniors.org through my SBC internet
connection? I'm assuming, it's a business account.)

3) What's the path? I have four computers for LTSP
machines, they have no cdrom drives. I currently have
a five port switch. So I'll have to get a bigger one
for the rest of my computers...

rest of computers.

Hope my drawings make sense. Thanks for any and all
help. The other computers run Windows, because that's
what the seniors are most used to at this point (I
plan on using the new K12LTSP computers for training
the new senior cit's that come.)

I don't have to have the network set up before I
install K12LTSP tonight, right? Thanks guys. I've
been watching and reading for over a year now
(although not always actively), I'm excited to finally
be joining the fray. I'm not working in a K12
environment I know, but at least an educational one.

Sincerely,
Brandon Dorman
