It slices, it dices, it has even been known to boot terminals from
time-to-time. K12LTSP v3.0.1 is now available at a mirror near you!

Every single K12LTSP-specific package has been renamed in order
to play well with others. I took a mix of Red Hat's naming scheme
and the Fedora project's proposed naming scheme. The new, hopefully
consistent, naming scheme is to append "k12ltsp.build#.k12ltsp#".
The first K12LTSP 3.0 package for "bluefish-0.8-1", for example,
would be:

        bluefish-0.8-1.k12ltsp.1.3.0.i386.rpm

Yes, I know that is long and annoying, but sometimes that's the
way the cookie crumbles ;-)

I also changed the ISO images around a little bit.  I have moved the
K12LTSP SRPM packages onto a fourth disc. Also on the fourth disc
I'll include extras that are not yet ready to include in the core
release, such as the openmosix packages.

The fourth disc is an "extra", it is not used during the K12LTSP install.
Source discs #2 and #3 are exactly the same as the Red Hat 8.0 discs
#4 and #5 - these discs are not used during the install as well.

On the third disc, where the SRPMs used to be, I included the latest
server kernels. It is not practical to include the updated kernels
into the install, so I included them on the discs as a matter of
convenience.

For K12LTSP itself, I've made a number of minor changes and bug
fixes. See the package-by-package breakdown below for all the
dirty details.


K12LTSP v3.0.1 is available for immediate download from the

Change default usb mouse settings. Also include a "usb" RCFILE that

Bug fix for USB mouse configurations, the "X_USBMOUSE_*" options did
not work in v3.0.0. Revert font patch for old XFree86 3.3.6 drivers:

Default to using KDM rather than GDM. GDM 2.0 is just too buggy:
