David: this looks pretty simple re cd ltsp boot
copied from mail of Prakash Advani

cat eb-5.0.8-viarhine.lzdsk > /dev/fd0  makes a floppy image.test it 
somewhere.

if it works take the floppy and
dd if=/dev/fd0 of=boot.img bs=18k makes an image file

mkdir /tmp/boot and copy boot.img to it
 go to /tmp and
mkisofs -r -b boot/boot.img -c boot/boot.catalog -o bootcd.iso
where boot image is boot.img and boot.catalog is auto generated.
that generates a bootcd.iso to be burned using cdrecord.
