You may want to try dmesg after boot to see if it is scanned.  If not 
try cat /proc/pci to see what pci devices where picked up by the kernel. 
 The cat output will show all pci devices.  The output below shows a 
Lite-On communications Inc device.  This is actually a linksys tulip 
based card.  You may need to cross reference the output with a search on 
Google to find the right driver.  Can't think of a way off the top of my 
head to do this easily.

  Bus  0, device   9, function  0:
    Ethernet controller: Lite-On Communications Inc LNE100TX (rev 33).
      IRQ 10.
      Master Capable.  Latency=32.
      I/O at 0xdc00 [0xdcff].
      Non-prefetchable 32 bit memory at 0xdd000000 [0xdd0000ff].
