[K12OSN] Linux and Alpha Smart

My son has an Alpha Smart memory keyboard device assigned to his for his 
specials educaion needs.  This is a USB device and he uses it for 
writing his assignments and then transfers the data either to a word 
processor or directly to a printer.  The Alpha Smart web site does not 
show anything for Linux.  Are there any drivers that anyone knows about 
that will make this critter work in Linux??????????
