Not sure if this has already been posted, but anyway, below is a link to a
paper that contains a lot of quantitative data that shows, in many cases,
that OSS is superior to its closed-source counterparts. Just scrolling down
and reading all the section headers with study results is impressive enough.
Should be useful for those of you who are still preparing to roll out Linux
in your institution or whose existing Linux installation needs to be
defended against proprietary encrouchments :)
