If these machines have windows installed, then look through the control 
panel for the network settings.  Here you will find precisely what card 
it is.

ok, you are on the right track.  Be aware, that if these machines will 
PXE, network boot from the BIOS, then your job will be so much easier. 
 Simply select the "network boot" option in the BIOS, save, and reboot.
