I for one would like to have a how-to on a ground up
install. I'm sure that I'm not alone in the fact that
I teach nearly full time and manage our entire network
and do all computer support. This wouldn't take too
much time if I only had terminals to support. I have a
predominantly Novell network with Windows clients. I
revived an old dual P166 server and put Trustix on it
with squid and squidguard/DansGuardian. Our old filter
provider wanted more than my annual budget to renew my
subscription and it didn't block obvious porn sites. I
found my reason to learn linux. I need all the help I
can get in making sure my systems are secure. Maybe
I'll even get to install a K12LTSP lab if I can get my
test bed figured out enough.
Let me know if/when/where such a how-to is.
