It may not be your firewall.  I think you're OK to not trust eth1 - if 
you DO trust it, then you're allowing all outside connections into your 
LTSP private network!!  I'm assuming a default installation (eth0:LTSP 
private network / eth1:internet).  What have you done to your squid 
settings?  It may be that squid is the culprit here.
