Hows about Mozilla, afterall that name seems be becoming available shortly.

Erm, I dont really have a suggestion for a name, we use K12LTSP for our office computers, we take it into schools in the UK, and say "K12LTSP" quite happily. We brand our own configuration of the school servers as "Linux Terminal Facilities" but at the login screen it is quite clear it's "K12LTSP".

One of the things mentioned in the "future /name change email" was the appliance idea.

It would be great, in webmin, (i know theres a module, but it has bugs), if i could say, this mac address is going to be a printer server, with this IP, connected with the following printers.

Though one option we are trying to sort at the moment, --> how to get workstations in say room 21, to only see the printers in room 21, at the moment they see the full list of the 30 school printers, which is quite annoying when prints start appearing in the wrong classes.

or that this mac address is goign to boot into some form of kiosk mode, that i can hang a 17" flat panel at the school entrance (what a waste) and run the schools "Welcome to our school presentation".

Or one that would be brilliant for our server room use, a terminal that would boot, and would simply run a tail on all the key /var/log/ files, and we can then cycle between the tty's to spot events on the network.

I know all of this is possible already, but making it easier so that we can send a copy out to every school in the UK, and let the systems managers have fun with it.
(Apart from being sued by every school in the UK, to come fix their network afterwards) I dont think RM would be too happy eiter.
