I found a copy of K12LTSP 3.0.2 that included the installer bugs that were
lost when I hosed my laptop. I've included the latest security patches
and am in the processes of verifying that I didn't miss anything. I'm
pretty sure this is a solid build, but won't release it as such until
I've ran it through more testing.
Since we're a couple weeks behind when I intended to release v3.0.2,
and the first couple test releases of v3.0.2 didn't generate a single
bug report, I've gone ahead and uploaded these images under the
assumption that they will will be the final v3.0.2.
I still have my ftp throttled down, so you probably want to grab the
pre-release images from Warren's mirror at the University of Hawaii:

In addition to the normal 80 hours a week I put in, I'll also be running
the servers at the NCCE conference (http://www.ncce.org/) this week so
it may take me a couple of days to complete the verification...

There are two important changes.
First, one of the tricks used to enable remote sound has proven to be
less reliable than desired. This specific option is now turned off by
default. To turn it back on, edit:
/etc/sysconfig/k12ltsp
and set:
REMOTE_SOUND_HACKS=YES
Second, there is now an option to have all of a user's processes purged
when when they login or logout. This is turned off by default. The advantage
is that it minimizes the number of "left-over" processes that chew up
memory and CPU time. The disadvantage is that it makes it impossible to
have shared logins or for a single user to log in more than one time (some
consider this to be a benefit as well). To turn this on, edit:
/etc/sysconfig/k12ltsp
and set:
PURGE_PROCESSES=YES
