I agree with your assessment that the right code in the hands of the right
people can make miracles happen.

The questions I have are:

* Is the target audience of K12LTSP likely to tame the likes of Apache, Koha,
  X, and friends?

* If we included Koha, who would promote and support it?

* If it were included but not promoted/supported, would it be likely to
reach the audience who would need to scratch this particular itch?

I would be happy to include Koha, or other programs along those lines, if
someone would be willing to...

  * make it work-out-of-the-box ;-)

  * make it close-enough to working that a little documentation would be
enough for most folks to get it running. Such doucumentation would
    be included, of course.

  * promote and support it. Answer the questions, fix the bugs, propose
solutions to make it easier for the average joe, etc.

  * packaged it up in such a way that I could just drop the rpm into the mix
and not have to worry about it. Near-zero work = near-zero resistance to
inclusion ;-) (limited by available diskspace, of course)

Warren, has anyone in the Fedora project tried to tackle packaging something
like Koha?
