Ok if you get the bash prompt is that you'r logged in.
Try unix command as:
pwd         :       will show your path
ls -a         :       will list files or directories in this particular path
and so on.

You may have at this point two screens available as alt+ F1 and alt+F2

Level 4 is intended to telnet you to log in an other system
RUNLEVEL           = 4
add the following line
TELNET_HOST   = 192.168.2.00         <==   this must be a valid server
adress
and you will jump immediately to a server login prompt thru telnet

and none but the less
RUNLEVEL    = 5
will give you a graphical screen asking for a login and password to give you
access to your linux server in graphical mode
