Oh, that version is *too* old, take a look at this one (i's also a bit
dated, but in principle it should still apply--I will do an update when
3.1.0 is released as stable, if anyone is still interested in a manual
installation):

http://openmosix.sourceforge.net/ltsp-omr4-1.html

There's also some other information on the topic at:

http://openmosix.sourceforge.net/community.html

FWIW, I still believe K12LTSP+openMosix may be the *easiest* way of all to
get a cluster going on the fly. With the Runlevel=3 option set in the
lts.conf, those that don't need client node GUI's (with the attendent
network traffic) it's pretty close to ideal for a fast set-up. For a
production LTSP environment though (As I have repeated here ad nauseum), I
think the best option is implementing openMosix on the server side of
things. But we don't want to go down that road again (do we Steve?) ;-)

An Advanced google search with the following parameters will provide a
great review of the topic as discussed on this list:

http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en

1. Find Results with all of the words: K12OSN
2. Find Results with at least one of the words: openMosix mosix
3. Domain ONLY return results from the site or domain: redhat.com

(Gotta love the advance google search when it comes to finding specifics on
the mailing lists!)

Enjoy!
