Eric,
	are you using switches or hubs? are speed and duplex
autonegotiated? this "feels" like a network problem. it can be just a
failing nic or marginal cable. my suggestion would be to eliminate as many
variables as possible and try to boot the station directly from the server
using a crossover cable. cbales *can* be, and *should* be tested. you will
find the culprit by process of elimination. julius
