Sorry for that last post, had a little boo-boo

I have a KDS 1510 monitor.  With a little research at Monitorworld.com [http://monitorworld.com/Monitors/kds/kd1510.html], I found the following:

Model:  KD-1510
Max Resolution:  1280 x 1024
Sync Type:  Composite, Seperate
H Freq/ V Freq:  28-66 Khz / 50-120 Hz
Tube Manufacturer:
Monitor Type:  Multisync/Multiscan
Tube Model:
Tube Size:  15
Connector:  15 pin

So I tried the following in my lts.conf

# ------------------------------------------
# Setting for KD-1510 Monitors - Not working
#        X_MODE_0           = 1280x1024
#        X_HORZSYNC         = "28-66"
#        X_VERTREFRESH      = "50-120"
#        X_COLOR_DEPTH      = "16"
# ------------------------------------------

As you can see, I have them commented it out, cause they did not work. X will start, but it is "messed" up. The area of the login window is filled with horizonal multi-colored lines.

The monitor will work with the following settings:
# ------------------------------------------
# Settings for KD-1510 Monitor - Working
        X_MODE_0           = 800x600
        X_HORZSYNC         = "28-56"
        X_VERTREFRESH      = "40-70"
        X_COLOR_DEPTH      = "16"
# ------------------------------------------

I know that the graphics card on the machine can handle 1024x768 so I know that is not the problem. Wondering if anyone has any other ideas. I know I don't understand why it is not working.
